Eligibility Information for New Applicants (2026–2027)
Students Entering Grades 1–8
Students applying to grades 1–8 will be contacted to complete an enrollment screener as part of the admissions process. The screener assesses academic Spanish language proficiency to help determine whether the student is prepared for success in our dual language program. Students who successfully meet the screener requirements will be eligible for placement on the waiting list or for any available openings.
Students Entering Kindergarten
Families of incoming Kindergarten students will be contacted to learn more about our dual language program and discuss whether it is the right fit for their child. Families interested in visiting our school are encouraged to schedule a tour.

Students Entering Pre-Kindergarten
Families seeking enrollment for Pre-Kindergarten must apply through the School Choice Portal. Buhrer offers a half-day Pre-K program for students receiving Special Education services.
